Port Vale considers legal action against troubled shirt sponsor

The League One club is considering taking legal action against its shirt sponsor, mobile phone company Tricell, after the firm failed to pay the first installment of its financial commitment to the club. According to media reports, the club has contacted lawyers after Tricell failed to hand-over the first installment of £92,000 of its sponsorship commitment. The mobile phone company is reportedly in administration amid concerns that creditors were threatening to file winding up orders.
