The Football League signed a three-year deal with the DIY chain, to be a second-tier partner below Coca-Cola, which is paying £5 million a year to be the title sponsor of the Football League. The contract is the first of six to be put in place to set the Championship apart financially from the rest of lower-division football. The undisclosed sum will be shared equally between the 24 clubs.
