MLS launches the Generation adidas initiative

The Major League Soccer has launched a new initiative for youth player development program designed to identify and develope the elite youth football (soccer) talent in the country. The initiative, in partnership with the German sports goods manufacturer adidas, will see 12 of the country’s top young football (soccer) players sign endorsement contracts. adidas is also the technical sponsor of the MLS, providing kit to all the League's 12 clubs, as well as supplying the League's Official Match Ball.
