English Birmingham and English kit manufacturers, UMBRO, announced a three-year sponsorship deal that will continue until the end of the 2009-2010 season.
UMBRO was the club's exclusive supplier of its playing and training kit during the 1970s and 1980s.
"I'm delighted to be able to announce our partnership with UMBRO," said Karren Brady, Birmingham's managing director. "We hope this new deal will demonstrate our commitment and ambition as a football club."
"We have worked extremely hard over the last few months to find a technical partner we feel shares our future aspirations and believe UMBRO come into that category."
"To add a progressive club like Birmingham City to our list of clubs we supply kit to is fantastic news for the brand and it provides UMBRO with a further platform in the Midlands," said Simon Marsh, UMBRO director of football.
