Galatasaray signs with Turk Telekom

Turkish Galatasaray Istanbul signed a five year spnosrship deal with Turk Telekom, a leading fixed-line phone company in Turkey. The deal will take effect beginning in the 09/10 football season.

The deal include the naming rights to the Turkcell Super League champion's new stadium in Istanbul's Seyrantepe district.

The merchandising arm of the club, Galatasaray Sportif Sinai, along with Ticari Yatirimlar AS arranged the deal with Turk Telekomunikasyon AS, which will cover the club's new stadium. The naming rights allow the stadium to be called Turk Telekom Stadium for ten years.

It has been reported by Hurriyet daily that the deal worth USD 40 million. This was not verified by the company, who declined to discuss the details of the contract.
