Mobile phone company Vodafone has entered in a three-year deal to sponsor the UEFA Cup finals and the UEFA Super Cup, which will last until June 2009.
Vodafone will get on-screen branding during the international broadcast of the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Cup quarterfinals, semifinals and the Final, as well as perimeter board exposure and other brand rights and hospitality. Vodafone is already an official sponsor and the official mobile network provider of the UEFA Champions League.
"Vodafone helps football fans to make the most of their time by providing immediate access to the latest football news and information via their mobile phones, whenever and wherever they want it," said David Wheldon, director of brand and customer experience at Vodafone. "This agreement enables us to promote our products and services in context of the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup."
