Logo unveiling for UEFA EURO 2012 scheduled

UEFA has announced that the logo and slogan for the 2012 UEFA European Championship will be revealed on 14 December during a unique ceremony in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The ceremony will be held on Mykhailivska Square from 12.15 local time (11.15CET). The logo and slogan will be presented by Michel Platini (UEFA President) along with FFU (Football Federation of Ukraine) president Grigoriy Surkis, and PZPN (Polish Football Association) president Grzegorz Lato.

A press conference will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital of Ukraine at 13.15. The presidents of UEFA, FFU, and PZPN will attend.

Any media wishing to take part in the conference must apply via email with the subject ‘Logo launch’ to the Ukrainian Local Organizing Committee press office by 2 December.
