Olympique Marseille is the country’s most popular club

A survey published by France Football magazine has reveled that the Ligue 1 club is the country’s most popular. Over 70% of supporters interviewed in the survey said Marseille is their favorite. However, fellow Ligue 1 club St Etienne, which has won a record 10 French titles, came out on top when supporters were asked which club held the most historical importance in the country’s game.
