German Bundesliga club Hertha BSC is introducing an innovative new advertising media at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. Having used the video boards in an initial test phase during the second half of the 2007/2008 Bundesliga season, the Berlin club will be making expansive use of the new advertising technology in TV-relevant pitch-side areas, thereby offering its advertising partners excellent additional value benefits.

"Together with SPORTFIVE, our marketing partner, we have put the TV video boards to the test during Bundesliga competition as well as conducting a comprehensive array of other trials" explains Ingo Schiller, managing director of Hertha BSC, "and we are thoroughly satisfied with the results. As part of our overall effort to be customer-oriented, we have made it our goal to remain a pioneer in all developments - which is why we have always set out to lead the field in the area of pitch-side advertising systems."

"Use of the video boards," emphasises Christian Jäger, head of the SPORTFIVE team in Berlin, "offers our customers exceptional added value. Indeed, not only do our customers profit from the innovative technology of this advertising tool, but they also enjoy a whole host of major benefits in terms of versatility and the ability to keep their communicative content totally up to date."
