UEFA puts EURO 2008 hospitality packages on sale

UEFA has launched the sale of its EURO 2008 hospitality packages, available on euro2008.com.

The directors of EURO 2008 are playing this up as something companies can do to win favour with clients.

Among the benefits are a top-category seat, gourmet catering, entertainment before and after the match and access to the hospitality area.

There are three different packages offered. One is Follow Your Team, a group stage package that will include all three group matches for a chosen national team, starting at EUR 2,900.

The Stadium Series goes for all matches at a given venue with prices varying from stadium to stadium and the number of matches played.

The Knockout, from the quarterfinals on, is for contests in the knockout phase, with the amount of matches available changing from three to seven, depending on the offer selected.

"As has already been the case for ordinary tickets, demand is bound to far exceed supply," said Friedrich Stickler, Austrian Football Association president and chairman of the board of EURO 2008. "But unlike the sales period for normal tickets, orders have to be placed quickly in this instance as packages will be allocated on a first come, first served basis."
