FIFA to announce Tour Operator policy at Soccerex
World Cup 2010 - 18 October, 2007
FIFA intend to conduct two seminars and workshops which will outline the process for entities who might wish to be appointed as Authorised Tour Operators for FIFA World Cup 2010.
FIFA, the FIFA Ticketing Sub Committee and MATCH will be presenting and explaining the official policy, requirements and criteria which will hopefully result in the eventual appointment of an estimated 160 Authorised Tour Operators from all over the world for the event in 2010.
Over 300 interested potential operators are expected to attend both sessions that have been scheduled within the Soccerex Conference Programme on the afternoon of the 26th and 27th November.
The Tour Operator Workshop shall be opened by Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk, the South African Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, who will also deliver the first session entitled “Destination South Africa”.
