The Championship club signed a £10m naming rights deal for its new 32,500-seater stadium with the Japanese Ricoh. The new stadium will be called the Ricoh Arena. The club is to leave Highfield Road and will move to a new home in time for the start of next season. The Arena features an exhibition centre, hotel and fitness facilities. The whole development is costing £113m and is situated close to Highfield Road, which has been the midlands club's home for 106 years. Ricoh UK managing director Takahisa Yokoo said: "We are extremely pleased to be involved with such a high profile and exciting development. This is fantastic news for the Arena and more importantly it is fantastic news for the city as a whole," added Ken Taylor, leader of Coventry City council.
