Schalke 04 in naming rights discussions with Samsung

Samsung is reportedly interested in acquiring the naming rights to the AufSchalke Arena, the home ground of 1.Bundesliga club and the host of the 2004 UEFA Champions League final. According to German media reports, the Korean Electronics Company and mobile phone manufacturer, which has also been linked to the shirt sponsorship of FA Premier League club Chelsea, is prepared to pay €3-5m a year for the rights.
