Liverpool in a deal with LG Mobile

The Premier League club has teamed up with LG Mobile as their official mobile handset partner. Rick Parry, club’s Chief Executive said "We are delighted sign up a world player in mobile handsets as a new Walk On Partner to the club, and look forward to working with LG Mobile for the benefit of fans and both organizations' alike." The £1m two-season deal is the first for LG Mobile in the UK and emphasizes the prominent UK mobile market. UK President of LG Electronics, James Jeong said: “LG Mobile has an aggressive sponsorship strategy for 2005 so we are excited and pleased with the tie-in and association with Liverpool Football Club for at least the next two years.”
