Swansea Council dismisses stadium naming rights rumors

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
The Swansea Council has dismissed rumors that the city’s £27m stadium is having trouble attracting naming rights sponsors. The stadium is due to open in a few months but has no name after its provisional name ‘White Rock’ was dropped in favor of securing a lucrative naming rights sponsor. A spokeswoman for the club said: "Swansea's new stadium offers potential sponsors a wonderful opportunity to be associated with one of Europe's finest regional sports venues. It presents a fantastic package of sponsorship opportunities connected to the stadium naming rights, stand sponsorship and right to supply the bars. The unsubstantiated rumours on an anonymous website are untrue.
