Portable advertising system available for Premier League Clubs

Premier League club Newcastle United will showcase the first appearance of a portable LED perimeter advertising system at a Premiership venue on Sunday when the stadium hosts Sky One's football show 'The Match'.

A year in development, the bespoke system has been designed specifically for the UK market. The GBP 1.2 million project has been developed for market use by Fox RC&A Sports – a leading outdoor sports advertising company. The system can be easily transported from venue to venue around the country in a range of lengths.

"Our system makes LED perimeter advertising affordable to all," Fox RC&A Sports managing director Richard Carpenter said. "It's the first system of its kind available for hire to clubs and governing bodies and enables them to access much higher revenue streams without the need to make a seven-figure capital outlay. Research in Europe where the market is more mature demonstrates that revenues for this medium can be up to four times higher than conventional perimeter boards."

Fox RC&A Sports has signed up 20 Football League Championship clubs to use the system this season. The system made its debut in Preston North End's televised home game with Burnley, and has been used at Colchester, Cardiff and Norwich football grounds in recent weeks.

Fox RC&A Sports have recently been acquired by international group Sportfive which should offer a large potential range of clubs across Europe to market the system to.
