SPORTFIVE and Arminia Bielefeld announced the early extension of their collaboration, originally signed through 2011. The Hamburg-based sports marketing agency will exclusively handle all of the club's marketing rights and decentralised TV rights through 2016.
Apart from this, SPORTFIVE provided active support in realising the planned new construction of the grandstand in the SchücoArena. The sports rights agent's subsidiary SPORTFIVE Financial Services GmbH served as a consultant to the club in financing the planned construction. As part of the project, a whole new VIP area with approx. 20 lounges and roughly 1,000 Business Seats will be built. Once it is finished, SPORTFIVE will be in charge of marketing the new, exclusive, and high-end hospitality area.
SPORTFIVE has served as Arminia Bielefeld's marketing agency since the 2001/2002 season, recruiting sponsors and marketing the VIP lounges and Business Seats. At this point, its comprehensive marketing concept successfully serves seven other Bundesliga clubs as well.
