Leeds requests High Court over arbitration

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
English Leeds United is pressing to have its 15-point deduction heard by the High Court, asking that the Football Association not have an arbitration hearing.

The penalty was a result of a breach in administration rules.

The club said it had asked for an independent commission to be appointed to investigate the matter, but was turned down by the FA. Now, Leeds' website has questioned the bias of the FA.

"Given the approach of the FA to date, the club have severe reservations regarding its impartiality," read a statement on the website.
