After disruptions at the Manchester UEFA Cup final, UK sports minister Gerry Sutcliffe has decided to recommend limitations on alcohol at major sporting events in the country.

Drunken Rangers fans were involved in violent and crude behavior prior to the match inside of a fan zone. Within local fans zones, team enthusiasts were permitted to carry and consume as much alcohol as desired. The incident has moved Sutcliffe to remove the privilege.

Not only was the behavior simply outrageous, there was a disgusting disarray of waste left the morning after the incident. Sutcliffe commented,

"I also saw the aftermath the following day which was diabolical - people should not have to put up with that," Sutcliffe told Teamtalk.

The sports minister aims that alcohol will be controlled surrounding future events.
