The Premier League club and Norwegian First Division club have lodged a complaint to FIFA over Chelsea's pursuit of Nigerian teenager John Obi Mikel. "We are worried about Mikel and about his situation," Lyn chairman Sveinung Lunde said. Lyn's lawyer Erik Nadheim told media that Lyn and Manchester United have sent in a complaint on Chelsea and the two agents, John Shittu and Rune Hauge, to FIFA," said Nadheim. "The only thing that Lyn wants is that Mikel comes back to Norway and plays football until his contract expires." United announced the youngster's £4 million transfer on 29 April. Nadheim said in a letter to Chelsea that Shittu was understood to be acting on the west London club's behalf and that Mikel had been staying in London with Shittu and another agent, Jerome Anderson, and had met Chelsea representatives.
