Leeds requests court ruling before season's end

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
English Leeds wants a High Court ruling on its 15-point penalty before the season ends.

The club was faced with the penalty after they did not have a CVA while getting out of administration.

The club was asking for the ruling to be hastened due to playoff issues.

Leeds had filed two appeals with the FA for help. Both were denied. Leeds requested arbitration, but then averted it by going to court.

Leeds signed a written agreement upon leaving administration that prevented either party from taking future legal action against the other. Bates has since claimed that it was signed "under duress".
