An Istanbul court has appointed new trustees for the Turkish Football Federation, giving the new appointees the powers to convene the General Committee and set the agenda.
Lütfi Arıboğan, Kamil Dizar and Yusuf Egemenoğlu are not the top three trustees for the TFF.
The vice president of the TFF said the court did not make an informed decision, and the TFF would object to the court ruling.
Murat Başesgioğlu, the state minister in charge of sports, said the ruling should not be considered an appointment of trustees. The minister said the TFF board still would be in charge.
Başesgioğlu, however, downplayed fears that the recent actions would lead to sanctions from FIFA.
