Wage bill spiral slows

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
The latest research by Deloitte & Touche also reveals that the once rocketing wage bills within English Premier League clubs have started to slowand that the wage bill for the 2002/03 season raised by just eight percent on the previous year. It compares with an average year-on-year rise over the past decade of 24 percent – and suggests clubs are finally taking steps to keep wage bills under control.
