The long-running dispute between the Championship club and the local authority is about to end.

The club which owes an outstanding £4.3m lease payments has managed to negotiate an agreement whereby it will pay 25% of the debt immediately, while repaying the remainder in monthly installments over a period of five years. Once the full debt is paid, the club would be granted a 50-year protected lease with an option for a further 50 years.
