Rangers raised £51m from share issue

The Premier League club has raised more than £51m through its share issue launched last month. Most of shares were bought by Club chairman David Murray, for £50.275m and the total number of shares controlled by the chairman is 99,801,034, representing 91.8% of the issued share capital. Other existing shareholders purchased share is value of £848,465, while club supporters purchasing £307,530 value. “Collectively, we have created a firm financial footing for the future of our Club," Murray commented in media.
