The Superliga club operates since January this year a registered company that purchases a share of a player's transfer rights and benefit from the appreciation in value of the footballer at the time of a transfer. The found generated income of €5.7 million from the summer transfers of defenders Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Carvalho to English Premier League club Chelsea and midfielders Deco (Barcelona) and Pedro Mendes (Tottenham Hotspur).
