Inland Revenue lodged a petition to wind up Wrexham
|
The League One club which has debts of around £5m will face a court hearing scheduled for mid November, regarding an open tax bill of £800,000. Since the club is facing the threat of going out of business Wrexham Council announced that it is working towards purchasing the club’s Racehorse ground valued at around £1.5m. However, the council has no intention of buying the club, and hopes to use the ground as a regional and community venue.
