Barclays Bank doesn’t extend Everton’s overdraft

While directors at the Premier League club appear to be locked in dispute, the bank has called an urgent meeting in concerns about an overdraft of £ 5m in addition to long-term debt of £30m to the US-based investment bank Bear Stearns. Club’s director Paul Gregg has denied the club is on the verge of administration. "The bank is having one of its regular meetings with the club,” he told media.
