The figure represents 75% of the incomes generated by UEFA for TV rights sales and sponsorship deals. The participating clubs in the 2003/04 Champions League competition will receive payments in proportion to their achievements and in proportion to the value of each of the domestic TV markets. According to this distribution system, Champions League winner Portuguese 1 Liga Porto will receive only € 19.76m, while English clubs Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and France beaten finalist Monaco netted between € 26-28m each.
