FSV Mainz 05 reports profits

The German Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 announced that the club brought a profit in the financial year 2005/06 at a value of 3.1 million euro before taxes (2004/05 3.5 millions euro).
Turnover reported 31.5 million euro (2004/05 29.5 million euro), half of it counted from TV rights payments and approximately a quarter from Sponsoring and ticket incomes.
"Within two years in the Bundesliga Mainz 05 can be free from debt", said the club finance director Friedhelm Andres.
