MILLWALL FC RAISE MONEY THROUGH SALE OF TRAINING GROUND

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

The Championship club relieved some financial pressure with a Sale and Leaseback its training ground in Bromley for GBP 1.85 million with a 20-year lease.  The club recently followed up on an offer from previous owners Fairview Estates to purchase the ground for GBP 300,000. The club then sold the ground to St. John’s College.

The deal means the club will have use of the training ground for the foreseeable future. In addition, the club repaid the loan taken out to buy the ground with the sale to St. John’s. The remaining balance has been used to alleviate other  debts.
