LINCOLN CITY FC ANNOUNCE PROFIT

The League Two club announced an operating profit of GBP 162,000 for the year ending June 30, 2005.

The profit came as turnover increased from GBP 2.9 million to GBP 3.0 million, and after the club was able to pay off GBP 210,392 in loans. The pay off reduced the club’s loan debt from GBP 750,000 in 2002 to GBP 94,278.

The reduction in loan debt came despite increase in salary costs and investments in new club facilities and a new ticketing system.
