The Premiere League club renewed an insurance deal with Russian firm Kapital-Strakhovaniye Zhizni for US$ 59.1 million until 2007. The contract involves 16 of the club’s players. The club would be reimbursed in case they can no longer play because of injury, illness or their career ending.

The firm will pay the club the current transfer value for the player in question. Last year, the firm paid out approximately US$ 313,000 for injured players. The money was used to cover medical expenses for midfielder Dmitry Alenichev and striker Mihailo Pjanovic. The deal between the firm and the club was first made in 2004. The club finished second in the Russian Premiere League and will take part in the UEFA Champions League for the 2006/07 season.
