Rubin Kazan to receive US$100m for UEFA Cup positioning

Investors and local government have pledged up to US$100 million for the Premier Liga club as long as the side finish the season in UEFA Cup places. The money is likely to be used on strengthening the squad with several high-profile players from Georgia including Levan Kobiashvili from German Bundesliga club Schalke 04. The club is sponsored by a group of investors and the local government.
