Neil Hughes, the court-appointed examineror for the survival of the company that trades as Shamrock Rovers Football Club (Branvard Ltd), has completed the payout scheme for the creditors. The main creditor, Irish Revenue Commissioners will recover only 2% of the €1.5m due to them. Preferential creditors will receive only 4.25% of €444,700 due, while unsecured creditors will be paid 2.12% of the total €1.66m due.

Shamrock Rovers FC is now under the joint ownership and control of the 400 Club, a fund-raising supporters’ group. A statement issued by the incoming Board of Directors said: “Shamrock Rovers now belongs to the people who cherish it most: the supporters.”
