The Bundesliga club who won the Champions League in 2001 and reached the final two years earlier, have been paid a total of just over €190m in performance, results-related and television pool money since the competition began in the 1992/93 season. English Premier League club Manchester United is second in the list with just over €179m, while Spanish Primera Liga Real Madrid is third with almost €177m. The rest of “big earners” list: Italian Juventus (€152m), Italian AC Milan (€136m), English Arsenal (€134m) and Spanish Barcelona (€118m).
