Premier League to divide profits

Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Under a formula agreed by the clubs, all SPL revenues, once running costs and payments to the Scottish Football League and to the relegated clubs are stripped out, are split with 48 percent shared equally among the clubs and the remaining 52 percent divided on where each finished in the League.

Although the final figures have yet to be worked out, the 12 clubs stand to share between £12m and almost £14m. As champions, Rangers will receive the lion's share, 17 per cent, of the bonus money, equivalent to between £2.04m and £2.38m, with runners-up Celtic picking up 15 percent.

1 Rangers: 17% (£2.04m - £2.38m)
2 Celtic: 15% (£1.8m- £2.1m)
3 Hibs: 9.5% (£1.14m - £1.33m)
4 Aberdeen: 8.5% (1.02m - £1.19m)
5 Hearts: 8% (£0.96m - £1.12m)
6 Motherwell: 7.5% (£0.9m - £1.05m)
7 Kilmarnock: 7% (£0.84 - £0.98m)
8 Inverness CT: 6.5% (£0.78m - £0.91m)
9 Dundee United: 6% (£0.72m-£0.84m)
10 Livingston: 5.5% (£0.66m - £0.77m)
11 Dunfermline: 5% (£0.6m - £0.7m)
12 Dundee: 4.5% (£0.54m - £0.630m)
