The Football League club deputy chairman Peter Ridsdale admits the club will undergo major changes in the coming weeks to get the squad payroll to an affordable level. "That means persuading players we can't afford to keep that there's another club somewhere for them. At the same time we need to bring in the players that the manager wants and that the club can afford," Ridsdale commented to media. The club is £30m in debt, and it is understood that they need to slash £2m off the annual player wage bill.
