Randers FC show profits

The Superleague club has made a profit only 17 months after merging with five other clubs. The club brought in €200,000 for the financial year of 2004/05 and turnover increased from €1.67m to €2.69m. More than 250 companies have sponsored the club in one way or another over the past 12 months, more than double than the previous year. The club was close to bankruptcy in January 2003 when the club joined forces with five other local sides to form a club strong enough to win promotion to the Superleague.
