Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
UEFA appears to be confident that all deadlines can be met after signing a staging agreement with the two national associations who co-host Euro 2008 tournament. Although the new Hardturm Stadium in Zurich would not be ready for the finals, the Letzigrund stadium in the city, which is to be renovated, has been put forward as an alternative venue. The 2008 matches will be staged in Vienna, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Innsbruck in Austria, and Berne, Basel and Geneva in Switzerland, with the issue of a fourth Swiss stadium still pending.
