FIFA Confederations Cup Official Draw

The FIFA Confederations Cup 2005 Official Draw and Ticketing Press Conference will take place at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt am/Main on 1 November 2004. The 16 games competition will feature six national teams and has been billed by FIFA as the ‘Festival of Champions’. Featured alongside hosts Germany and current World Cup holders Brazil, will be Argentina (2004 Copa America finalists), Greece (Euro 2004 champions), Mexico (2003 Gold Cup winners), Tunisia (2004 African Cup of Nations winners), Japan (2004 Asian Cup champions) and Australia (2004 Oceania Nations Cup champions). The tournament will be held between 15 and 29 June in Frankfurt, Hannover, Köln, Leipzig and Nürnberg.
