Adjust font size: Decrease font Enlarge font
The plan for the tournament in Germany just a year before the World-Cup 2006 kickoff is concluded. The tournament will be played from 15 to 29 June 2005 in the cities of Frankfurt, Hanover, Cologne, Leipzig, and Nuernberg. Frankfurt was selected as venue for the drawing, which will take place on 1 November 2004, and for the final game of the tournament. Six of the eight participating teams are already known: Germany as a host, world champion Brazil, European champion Greece, Tunisia (winner of the African nation cup 2004), Mexico (winner of the CONCACAF gold Cup 2003) and Argentina, the Copa America finalist (Brazil the winners participate as world champions). To this list will be joining the winners of the Asia cup 2004, and the Oceania OFC nation cup 2004.
