Johannesburg will play host to the International Broadcast Center for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The facility will be the focal point for television and print media coverage of the tournament. Johannesburg, the nation's most populous city and the host for the tournament's opening ceremonies, got the nod over Cape Town and Durban.

Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium will host the 2010 World Cup final.

A USD 145.5 million benefit will now go to Johannesburg.
