If Rangers' UEFA Cup season goes a little longer, so will the Scottish Premier League season.
With the Scottish club on the verge of reaching the UEFA CUP Final, the SPL announced it will extend its season by four days. If Rangers should gall in the semifinal to Italian Fiorentina, the season will end on time on 18 May.
Fixtures were released with a Rangers victory and with a Rangers loss. Regardless, things will be busy with the club, as it faces Queen of the South 24 May for the Scottish Cup.
The need to switch the schedule comes from conflicting dates should Rangers defeat Fiorentina. The UEFA final would take place 14 May. Rangers has dates against St Mirren 13 May and 15 May.
