Second sales period for World Cup tickets

The second sales period for 2006 FIFA World Cup match tickets has began on 2 May 2005. Tickets will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. The second period features exclusively TST (Team Specific Ticket) series, available to order through the official website. A total of 147,000 TST series initially went on sale in the first period from 1 February to 31 March 2005. This form of ticket is already sold out for the following nations: Germany, Argentina, Brazil, England, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the USA. The second sales period ends when all TST series tickets have been taken up, or on 15 November at the latest. The third sales period begins in December 2005 when up to 300,000 individual tickets will be released for sale.
