UEFA unveils host nations

UEFA announced the venues for next years Champion Leagues final • to be held at the Stade de France in Paris, while Eindhoven will host the UEFA Cup final as reported by Sky. At a meeting in Estonia held on Tuesday several other venues were also confirmed for 2007. Athens will stage the Championship at the Olympic Stadium and Glasgow’s Hampden Park will show the UEFA Cup final. The French stadium is famous for the 2000 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Valencia that saw Real win 3-0. Hampden last staged the European showdown in 2002 when Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen met in the Scottish city for the Champions League final.
