FL to act in accordance with FIFA transfer window

The Football League announced it will adhere to the FIFA-imposed transfer window system from next season, giving up the possibility of lobbying FIFA to keep its current exemption. “This is the third season where we've had an exemption. That will not apply any more – there's not going to be any further extended period of flexibility,†Andy Williamson, the league’s director of operations commented to media.
