English Liverpool American co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett are to sell all or a majority of their holding to Kuwaiti billioner Nasser Al Kharafi.

According to the Sunday Express and the Daily Star, despite denials, talks are believed to be at an advanced stage and the club will be approached soon with a GBP 450 million takeover bid.

While Gillett is ready to sell his part, Hicks would like to still be involved and could sell only 25 percent out of his 50 percent share.

Hicks and Gillett have until July to refinance their GBP 350 million loan which was used to buy the club.
