MLS D.C. United's Victor MacFarlane and Will Chang made a recent announcement about the future of the club. Last week, the owners indicated that the club’s executive management would be revamped, with MacFarlane and Chang sharing the role of executive chairman.

In a letter addressed to fans, the pair stated that the club did not fulfill its goals last season, despite the fact that they had "set the bar very high." MacFarlane and Chang further advised that they hope the executive reorganization will move them closer to winning championships, as reported by ESPN.

President Kevin Payne, General Manager Dave Kasper and Coach Tom Soehn are safe in their positions.

The owners maintain that a repeat performance is not an option for them this year. D.C. United finished fifth in the Eastern Conference this season.
