Arsenal may still hold Kroenke's interest

American tycoon Stan Kroenke, owner of MLS Colorado Rapids, may still be interested in buying English Arsenal, even after a statement saying otherwise by a Rapids spokesman.
"There's no interest or intention in buying any shares or any pieces of Arsenal FC," said Jurgen Mainka, a Rapids spokeman.
Kroenke, however, has insisted in a statement that the comments were not authorised by him.
"Mr. Mainka is not my spokesman," Kroenke is quoted in The Sun. "The comments were not authorised."
Arsenal and Kroenke's Rapids announced an exclusive partnership last February.
